Job Description
Position Summary:
A 277 room, full service luxury beach front resort with spa, including 2 penthouses, 40 suites and 40,000 square feet of meeting space. The Beach House Suites offers an additional 70 condo-style suites, both properties are located 30 minutes south of Tampa International Airport, on St. Pete Beach. This unique historic hotel was built in the 1920's on the Gulf of Mexico, and offers many features and amenities such as a Beach Club, Spa, Boardwalk, two swimming pools and award winning restaurants. Resort has been consistantly honored with many Meeting and Convention Awards, 25 years of consecutive 4 diamond awards.
Negotiate and maintain international and domestic tour wholesaler contracts, volume corporate and consortia accounts ensuring customer satisfaction. Book new and repeat contracted business through various efforts (outside sales calls, telemarketing, mailings, referrals, tradeshows, networking, etc) within policies and procedures to maximize room revenue to meet/exceed goals. Develop and continually enhance relationships with key travel industry accounts to maintain and increase our market share. Some travel required.
Required Skills & Experience:
One or two full years of employment in a related position.
