Job Description
Become a member of our Marketing Team within the Brand Management group. The Senior Designer, Brand Management, will report directly to the Group Head, Brand Management. Job Description: The successful candidate will direct and manage the production of the brand’s creative materials combining influences of sport, fashion and lifestyle. They will also work closely with the internal production and design team to bring new campaigns to market in a wide variety of creative executions including print, outdoor, in store, and on line channels. • Drive the creative and aesthetic directions of selected campaigns and communications initiatives. • Lead and participate in creative brainstorming sessions with fellow designers. • Work quickly and effectively to adapt creative materials to alternative formats. • Help build and maintain key external partners for design and production resources. • Liase with senior management to understand and develop briefs for campaigns and other communications initiatives. • Manage production budgets on a project by project basis. • Oversee photo-shoots and other productions both in conjunction with other team members or external agencies, and on one’s own. We Expect: • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and/or relevant field of study, or 5+ years experience in similar field. • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in print/brand design. • Exceptional ability to see projects through all phases of implementation including: concept ideation; design development; and resource allocation/management. • Thorough understanding of print process, color theory and typography. • Fluent in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and Quark all on the Macintosh platform. • Presentation skills and proven ability to effectively liaise with senior management to brainstorm design and strategize the fulfillment of marketing executions to be carried out across all disciplines. • Experience directing and overseeing both studio and location photo shoots under aggressive, time-sensitive conditions. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to function autonomously as well as in a cooperative, diverse group. • Leadership capabilities, including ability to motivate and mentor others within work group. • Strong information seeking skills and a penchant for resourcefulness. • Tremendous attention to detail, and extraordinary time-management skills. • Experience in the fashion, athletic/apparel industry a plus.
