Job Description
Become a member of PUMA’s corporate citizenship to help build healthy communities, promote volunteerism, and form partnerships and funding initiatives through social, environmental, and economical initiatives. Help to improve the quality of life where our employees and customers live and work.
• The Global Head PUMA Green will initially report to the CEO and Chairman of PUMA, and will partner with the Global Head of SAFE Supply Chain.
• Spearhead the design, development and strategic implementation of corporate social responsibility throughout the organization, to promote and enhance sound corporate citizenship.
• Develop principles from the ground-up to implement a green lifestyle in our working environment that will change the behavior and attitudes of our employees.
• Influence global programs related to ecological directives. Create a footprint that will be represented throughout the organization by our employees, products, and retail stores and buildings, to save energy; reduce waste; and operate more sustainably.
• Pursue opportunities with local, regional, and global business and industry to further enhance philanthropy as a way of life.
• Establish long-term partnerships, and strengthen existing relations, with the current foundation sector.
• Provide leadership to the innovation of giving programs for education; environmental associations; and safe families and community activities.
• Work closely with the PUMA S.A.F.E Team (Social Accountability and Fundamental Environmental Standards) to continue and drive standards for our suppliers and factories.
• Support environmental and social reporting in close alliance with Global Head of SAFE Supply Chain
• Partner with Marketing to further enhance awareness of PUMA’s involvement as global citizens.
• Develop efforts to increase visibility throughout the organization.
• Create opportunities for Team Members of PUMA to become involved.
• Accountable for ensuring that equal opportunity and diversity are integrally tied to all actions and decisions for which they are represented.
• Travel domestically and internationally.
We Expect:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related discipline.
• 7 – 10 more years of related experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to implement and supervise multi-faceted initiatives to increase philanthropy across the organization.
• Extensive knowledge of fundraising principles and techniques in a large organization.
• Remain current in philanthropy developments and fundraising techniques by attending meetings and conferences and participating in training programs.
• Excellent written, communication and presentation skills.
• The ability to understand and translate information for all audiences.
• Proven management skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Highly organized, self-starter, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Knowledge of MS Office and Lotus Notes, or related programs required.
