Job Description
VP, Market Research Job Description This position is responsible for executing and managing market research projects for multiple clients within the Key Account. Required Skills * Quickly gain knowledge of the customer's business and master the complexities of their organization and the necessities to grow revenue and profit. * Recognize opportunities for growth and implement strategies that will enhance customer satisfaction, company market share, revenue growth and profitability. * Develop client relationships at multiple levels within the client's organization. * Act as backup to the Senior Vice President on the Key Account. * Manage projects for the Senior Vice President. * Have the ability to manage a number of research projects concurrently. * Manage all phases of the research process, including monitoring the progress of projects to ensure they are completed on schedule. * Design and execute projects ensuring corporate standards for quality, analysis, execution, report writing and presentation are met. * Take responsibility for ensuring that projects are completed on time and on budget. * Coordinate with clients on the preparation of project deliverables, as appropriate. * Supervise any members of project teams as necessary to achieve sales within the client organization and complete projects effectively, with proper quality standards and on time. * Execute quantitative projects, particularly international internet-based surveys. * Develop screeners, and questionnaires, and interface with the Specialist * Qualitative Unit to develop qualitative interviewing materials. * Demonstrate understanding of regression, multiple regression, segmentation, discriminant analysis, conjoint, discrete choice, perceptual mapping and other sophisticated methodologies. * State clearly and specifically what the issues are affecting the customer and develop strategies, in conjunction with the Senior Vice President, to effectively deal with these issues. Required Experience * A minimum of 5 years of experience with a market research vendor and or pharmaceutical company. * Substantial knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and expertise in market research within the industry are a very strong plus. * Must have the proven ability to develop strong relationships within a company, personally and professionally, and work well in a team-oriented atmosphere. * This individual will have worked as part of a directed team effort, will have emerged from an environment that requires them to work closely with peers and superiors on a regular basis and be able to take action on critical matters quickly and effectively. * An undergraduate degree is necessary - liberal arts or social sciences preferred. An advanced degree in business, research or social sciences or related advanced degree is required. Job Location Horsham, PA, US.
