Job Description Vice President, Sales Minneapolis, MN This position is responsible for directing a team of sales professionals in the activities that will secure annual sales at or above the sales budget. The Vice President of Sales has the primary responsibility of delivering the revenue component for Marx ProMotion Intelligence, a division of TNS Media Intelligence. This exciting opportunity will be providing direction to the definitive source for Free Standing Insert (FSI) coupon intelligence and a leading provider of other consumer promotion insights and a trusted resource for advertisers and agencies across the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. The essential responsibilities may include but not limited to the following: * Prepare annual sales & marketing plan to achieve assigned budget * Monitor progress against the plan through verbal, written and in-market communications with sales team * Maintain current & accurate forecasts which communicate the state of the business to the COO and senior management. * Assist the sales team in their account development efforts with regular visits to key client contacts * Manage the price quote process to maximize the profit contribution of the group * Direct the Product Development process in conjunction with the Vice President of Account Solutions and the Information Services group * Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the advertising and consumer promotion industries * Identify revenue threats and opportunities, developing recommendations to address both * Facilitate strategic and tactical communication within and across teams * Manage accounts within assigned territory to secure renewals and extend service offerings Competencies: * Winning and maintaining client relationships * Applying knowledge and skills to deliver client insight * Delivering projects * Working effectively in global and multi-cultural environments Required Skills * Bachelor’s degree * 7-10 years CPG or agency experience * Solid computer skills – Microsoft Office * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Excellent organizational and analytical skills * Superior presentation skills * Self-starter and able to work independently Job Location Minneapolis, MN, US.
