Joie de Vivre Hospitality is currently seeking a General Manager for The Ventana Inn and Spa located in beautiful Big Sur, CA.. This gorgeous 60 room 4 star resort has full Food and Beverage and event services.
The General Manager is responsible for maximizing the return on investment to the owner and resort by achieving the objectives of the annual business plan and annual strategic initiatives in guest service, work climate, and profitability. They are responsible for providing the highest quality of guest service and product, a positive work environment for all employees, and maintaining programs vital to the company culture.

The ideal candidate would possess:
* 5 plus years managing a 4 star resort property.
* Sales experience and previous Food and Beverage and Spa management experience is essential.
* Proven ability to cultivate a culture of superior customer service in a 4 star resort while maintaining employee culture.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the innate ability to lead and develop a team.
* Aptitude in financial management, financial reports and analysis.
* Strong project management experience.
* Ability to manage periods of rennovation and constuction.
