Position Summary:
The Role:
The North America Field Marketing team supports and collaborates with sales leadership from all regions in North America including Public Sector, Commercial, Verticals, and the Channel organization. Field marketing is responsible for creating awareness and demand supporting key priorities in North America by recommending, developing, and executing campaigns designed to enable regional sales teams and produce sales opportunities. The role requires clearly defined success metrics, ongoing tracking, and results that can tie or map revenue attainment back to marketing efforts. Field marketing is expected to provide campaigns designed to cross sell and lead to product revenue, meet sales pipeline growth objectives, and increase footprint in both existing business and new customer acquisition. Red Hat is looking for a strong candidate to lead campaigns and support for the Central region and is preferred to be located in Dallas to sit along with the Central regional sales team.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Work w/ Shared Services/Program Marketing organization to develop, execute, and provide metrics for campaigns and events for regional sales teams
• Manage marketing relationships and working closely with regional sales teams, field marketing and channel
• Facilitate sales communication of company news, press, events and marketing campaigns
• Ensure the delivery and management of sales tools including collateral, guides, cheat sheets, tools and presentations
• Develop and manage field marketing budgets
• Maintain and update NA sales portal for use by all NA
• Create campaigns in salesforce.com and work w/ email/web marketing team to ensure proper process flow of leads for lead tracking
• Track sales pipeline and analyzing metrics for ROI of marketing dollars
Required Skills & Experience:
• 5-7 years of enterprise marketing experience, preferably in the technology field
• Understanding of sales needs, campaign metrics and analysis, market intelligence resources
• Experience navigating complex ecosytem dynamics
• Ability to demonstrate leadership
• Established history of driving campaign results
• 25-40% travel required
