Job Description
Build sales plan/strategy that will optimize results in the region and meet revenue/margin objectives in the region on a quarterly basis Drive sales activities in the territory consistently with Taleo sales methodology Prepare and execute Project Plans, monitor and measure sales performance, analyze and communicate sales processes and strategies and add value to all stages of the sales cycle Transfer knowledge on sales methodologies to multiple audiences and manage, motivate and educate a virtual team Build and manage annual budget for the region and provide sales forecast to EVP Sales on a weekly basis Escalate obstacles to success in the region to appropriate people in the company Ensure successful transition of accounts to the Client Management Team Ensure that every client interaction meets Taleo's quality standards Provide suggestions to Taleo's supervisor, leadership team, and E-Team to improve company's performance in the region and beyond Travel 25% to 50% of the time and use a contact management software product to maximize advantage Qualifications Qualifications include the following: 7+ years sales experience in enterprise software company 3+ years experience leading a direct sales team Demonstrated ability to help sales team members exceed specific sales objectives Successful track record of recruiting, developing and retaining top talent Must have demonstrated success in creation and execution of organization plan resulting in achievement of goals/objectives Strong communication skills, both interpersonal and written Ability to self-teach complex concepts in a short period of time Knowledge of HR, HCM, ERP and/or CRM software markets highly desired Knowledge and experience in Saas / Cloud computing Experience in a technology start-up environment with demonstrated success a plus Here at Taleo, you will work with some of the sharpest minds in the industry building award-winning solutions that organizations will use to know their people and grow their business.
